Dark Art Boudoir -

This section, I wasn’t quite sure what to call it to be quite honest. As a photographer, I’ve done boudoir sessions almost since the beginning of my time in photography. With my dark art work, for my style of work wardrobe is extremely important. When I’m trying to make a statement, I really prefer people to either have a vintage wardrobe, wardrobe for a particular theme, or for it to be implied. The reason being, I want my work to make a statement. Even when my work is implied, when photographing dark art, I feel I can make a different emotion come out of it than when a model is say wearing lingerie.

That being said. At the end of 2023, I met someone who saw some of my darker work at a dark market and saw some of my implied dark art, and asked if I had more of the “sexier” dark work. I honestly never looked at those images as being “sexy” I don’t like thinking of any of my work in that sense myself. Even when I do boudoir work, I want it to be beautiful and classy and empowering. But use of wording is very subjective with the way different people view things. The person asking was a set designer for the film industry in Atlanta and was thinking about using some of my work on some sets. I talked to a few friends of mine about mixing boudoir style work in with some darker sets. It’s actually been a lot of fun to take my boudoir work into a different vibe. I’m always accepting clients if this is something you’re interested in.
